“It will be something incredible. Doctors, priests, politicians on the same stage. And on the agenda are topics that have excited the world community in recent days. This forum is for those who are passionate and feel the responsibility for their people and for their nation. Please do not miss these three days, March 6-8“ Alexey Ledyaev, founder of the watchmen on the wall movement.

The International Forum, which will bring together priests, doctors and politicians from Australia, the USA, Holland, Latvia and other European countries, will be held from March 6 to 8, 2020 in Riga (Latvia) under the title: “Improving and healing the society,” - the Forum’s press service.

Sessions will be held in the form of panel discussions and services.
The following question will be answered by the speakers and participants of the Forum:
We worry about our health, but who cares about the health of the society? Who could diagnose and prescribe a course of treatment to our diseased society? Is healing and recovering of the nation possible, or are these utopian dreams? Is the current government interested in a healthy society, or are chronically ill people easier to manage? What is behind the numerous protest actions of doctors, and what do representatives of the modern Church think about this?

The Forum is organized by the watchmen on the Walls International Movement. The watchmen on the Walls movement is 13 years old. It deals with the protection of the rights of Christian communities around the world, and issues of interaction between the Church and state institutions. The Movement includes Christians of different nationalities, faiths, countries, professions and social status. They gather at regular conferences, discuss the influence of the Church on public life, and participate in national Prayer breakfasts, meetings in national parliaments, and meetings of the European Council. The opinion of the Watchmen on the Wall movement is authoritative for political leaders in Europe and America.

“Politicians without priests will not solve anything. Equally, priests without political leaders will not solve anything. God created the institution of political power. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. And He created the institution of spiritual authority: "I will build My Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail." The institution of both political and spiritual authority belongs to God. He did not create them for confrontation and conflict. He created them for intelligent interaction, in the name of blessing the state and the country”- these are the basic principles of the Movement.
