Los Angeles 2020. Parts 5-7
Part Five. Service to God and Service to People
On Sunday morning, Pastor Arsen invited us to his church. Arthur Sanchez came to the service with us.
As you know, the process has begun. From theory to practical. Your friends are my friends.
A pastor from Latvia introduces Spaniards and Armenians here.
As well as a representative from Nigeria making the event colorful.
In short, it turned out to be such a multi-colored, international team this time. Of course, everyone was given the opportunity to introduce themselves.
Testify to what God has done in their lives.
Overall it was obvious that there is contact, we understood each other. Here is the real ecclesia. Diversity in unity and unity in diversity.
I spoke on the topic “serving God and serving people”.
The topic is not entirely popular, but extremely relevant.
It has been an ongoing topic amongst our leaders and pastors for a long time. Pastor Arsen, thank you so much for such hospitality. For an open heart and spiritual maturity.
Thanks to all your valiant team. May God reward you a thousandfold.
Till we meet again, if not here, then certainly in Europe.
Part Six. San Diego
And after Sunday morning service, we immediately went to San Diego. Pastor Alex tried to do everything so that the meeting with his leaders went according to plan.
The journey took us not more than two hours. Fortunately, there were no traffic jams.
And yet, every city has its own peculiarity. Orlando is not Los Angeles, and Los Angeles is not San Diego.
Everything is so calm here. The city is a resort and a wealthy one. Slightly lazy and slow.
It seems not to be bad, and, as Pastor Alex says, when people with the same spirit and the same mood comes to church, it makes the difference.
The spirit of the city and the spirit of the church – the question is who is who.
The workers meeting with the leaders was saturated. Finally, at least somewhere, we could present our partnership movement.
We showed short video clips of both the documentary film and Oratorio 30. May God grant that this work is well received. Pastor Alex assured that he will continue this initiative.
This must be learned from the Americans. Systematically, gently, persistently, as in Orlando. So that the costs of all summits and conferences are covered long before they start. God’s willing!
Part Seven. The La Jolla place. Not bad at all
At the end of our trip, Pastor Alex gave us a tour of the picturesque,
A fabulous ocean coast.
The name is strange, but not bad. What a mysterious miracle this is - the ocean.
How many secrets have not yet been revealed and known.
In early January, we were at the Lisbon Oceanarium. Of course, also impressive. But what is an aquarium - an aquarium in a limited space, compared with the ocean itself.
So majestic, boundless and bottomless.
There is almost no wind, yet the waves are so powerful.
It turns out that they do not always rise from the wind.
The ebbs and flows have their nature. We see only that which is from above, but what a beauty it is. We watched for hours.
And what a variety of sea birds.
And each flock, as you see, has chosen its site.
Unauthorized entry is strictly prohibited. Well, how did God wisely do all this. So aesthetically pleasing, unique, original, but most importantly - as functional as possible. After all, they also reproduce and multiply somewhere.
What a beautiful scene of these seal.
They decided to sleep in broad daylight.
Seals, adults and small, help each other warm up and have good dreams.
And then someone woke them. Well, how cute they look.
Here you can make sure that as a born to crawl can fly, so a born to swim can walk on the ground. As simple and elegant as that.
The La Jolla place. Not bad at all. Fabulous and Unique.
I’d to come back here again.
Meanwhile, our trip is drawing to a close.
Tomorrow we’re flying home. Thank God, not that favorite early morning flight.
And such a unique, farewell, fantastic landscape. San Diego, we will not forget you.
Pastor Alex, our entire team is overly grateful to you for such a royal service.
We felt at home here. All our plans remain valid.
May God bless you and your whole team. And may he fulfill all the intentions and desires of your heart. We should get go on the road. Time to go home!!!
Once again, and for the thousandth time, we are convinced that God blesses not only your departure, but also your entry, equally.
And this means the blessing of the entire route: Riga - Paris - Atlanta - Orlando. This is the first part of the journey.
And also the blessed second part of the trip: Los Angeles - Paris - Riga.
This is where our American report ends.
But life goes on.
