A solemn conclusion of the 2020 January Fast

"Secrets to the expansion of God’s Kingdom." That was the theme of the last Sunday service of the January fast.

The finale was something special.

Our God is Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End.

He is the One who blesses us at the start. He is the One who meets us at the finish.

And of course, awards are given at this point and the names of the winners are announced.

A ship sails in the direction of the name given to it. So will the year be as you call it.

It seems to be a simple philosophy, but how difficult it is to switch from theory to practical.

All Riga churches gathered together this day. In unity, strength and triumph. This is what we felt from the very first accord of this concluding service.

If we talk about the nationwide Latvian prayer for the country and for the government , I can’t imagine it in a different format than this.

Lord, help us figure this out. Whose desire is today's unity - religious leaders’ or yours?

Indeed, not all unity is from the Lord, and not all disagreements are from the devil. The main thing is to figure out around what is these whole unity topic revolving.

What revelations inspires this proposed unity? Around what idea is it built?

For unity for the sake of unity is just mere religion. And unity for the sake of a concrete revelation or protection of God's moral values is completely a different thing.

It was on the basis of this other thing that the title of the Sunday sermon was formulated, which we named as “The Secrets of the expansion of God’s Kingdom. You can watch it here.

Keeping the good traditions, we completed the January fast with the Lord’s Supper.

Our hearts were filled with peace and Joy.

As we anticipate the future glory and constant breakthrough. As the prophet said in Zechariah 8: 18-21, “And the word of the LORD of hosts came unto me: thus saith the LORD of hosts: the fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth will be made for the house of Judah a joyful and joyful triumph,

only love, truth and peace. Thus says the Lord of hosts: the nations and inhabitants of many cities will come again;

and the inhabitants of one city will go to the inhabitants of another and say: let us go to pray to the face of the Lord and seek the Lord of hosts; and everyone will say: I will go.”

And if the prophetic word has been proclaimed, that 2020 is the time when our earth will be filled with knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea,

So be it!!! So be it!!!!
